Welcome to St. Francis Academy, Kala Amb. It is a privilege to lead a school community that is committed to the academic, emotional, social and moral development of every child.
We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, respected, encouraged and appropriately challenged. Our teachers work to make classroom learning clear, engaging and meaningful while helping students develop curiosity, confidence and independent thinking.
Academic progress is important, but education must go beyond marks and examinations. Children should also learn how to communicate respectfully, work with others, manage responsibilities, accept mistakes and continue improving. These qualities prepare them not only for higher classes but also for life.
Discipline at St. Francis Academy is based on responsibility and mutual respect. We expect students to be punctual, regular, sincere in their work and considerate towards others. At the same time, we aim to guide children with understanding and help them recognise the consequences of their choices.
Activities, sports, assemblies, competitions and cultural programmes are an important part of school life. They provide students with opportunities to discover their interests, express their abilities and develop teamwork and leadership skills. We encourage every child to participate and learn from these experiences.
The partnership between parents and the school is essential. Parents are requested to remain involved in their child’s education, communicate openly with teachers and support the routines and expectations of the school. When children receive consistent guidance at home and at school, they are more likely to grow with confidence and stability.
I am grateful to our Chairman, Manager, teachers, staff and parents for their cooperation and trust. Together, we will continue to create a school environment where children are encouraged to work hard, think positively and become responsible human beings.
