It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St. Francis Academy, Kala Amb. Education is not limited to the knowledge gained from books. It is a continuous process that helps children understand themselves, respect others, develop sound judgement and prepare for the responsibilities of life.
At St. Francis Academy, we believe that every child has unique abilities and deserves the opportunity to learn in an atmosphere of care, encouragement and discipline. Our responsibility as an institution is to provide a strong academic foundation while also nurturing values such as honesty, compassion, humility, perseverance and respect.
The world around us is changing rapidly. Children today require not only subject knowledge but also confidence, creativity, communication skills and the ability to make responsible decisions. Our school therefore aims to create a balanced learning environment where classroom teaching is supported by activities, sports, cultural programmes and opportunities for personal growth.
We recognise that education is most effective when the school and parents work together. The support, trust and involvement of parents play an important role in a child’s progress. I encourage all parents to maintain regular communication with the school and to guide their children with patience, consistency and understanding.
I appreciate the dedication of our Principal, Manager, teachers and staff, who work sincerely for the academic and personal development of our students. Their commitment helps the school maintain an environment where children feel secure, respected and motivated to do their best.
